Hardy Toll Road/Sam Houston Parkway Interchange, Houston, Texas
Client:IDCUS was selected to provide environmental services for the proposed remaining direct connectors of the interchange at Hardy Toll Road and Sam Houston Parkway (North) in Precinct 2. IDCUS is preparing of an environmental assessment document to meet NEPA requirements. The construction of these direct connectors will accommodate the high volumes of traffic anticipated between Sam Houston Parkway (Beltway 8) and the Hardy Toll Road safely. The current connection between roadways, maintained by TxDOT, is depressed and floods in large rain events. Grade separated direct connectors between corridors offer the greatest efficiency, safety, capacity, and mobility for the traveling public.
