The scope of this project included planning, alternative analysis, preliminary engineering, preparation of schematics, environmental assessment, surveying, right-of-way mapping, geotechnical investigation, drainage (hydrology and hydraulics), public involvement, and agency coordination. The project extended from US 59 to FM 1640/Spur 529 on the west side of Rosenberg in Fort Bend County. It included widening existing Bamore Road from a 2-lane open ditch roadway section to a 3-lane concrete curb and gutter section with an underground storm sewer system. Work included preparation of PS&E to include ROW acquisition, roadway and drainage design, signing and striping design, utility relocations, surveying, pavement design, and TxDOT coordination. The roadway improvements included right-of-way takings and coordination with various drainage systems (Dry Creek, Seabourne Creek, and the Brazos River).
